Yes it is expensive. Yes, it is worth every penny. Cabins are clean, spacious and well appointed. Full service on every scheduled activity. Access to feeding animals at almost any time of the day. Meals are delicious, perfectly cooked or made and well presented. They put a lot of thought, knowledge and hard work into providing excellent care for their animals, so that we can participate in amazing encounters with them.

This was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life! Blue Hills Ranch isn’t just a hotel — it’s a real adventure. We had breakfast with giraffes, bottle-fed kangaroos, and even swam with otters. The property is huge and beautifully maintained, and it’s clear the animals are loved and well cared for. The cabins are cozy, the staff is friendly, and the entire atmosphere is magical. If you’re looking for something unique and emotionally uplifting — this place is a must-visit!

We stayed three nights midweek in the Giraffe cabin for my wife's birthday. The May weather was simply ideal. The staff love what they do and it shows. Their relationships with, knowledge of, and affection for the animals is lovely. Swimming with the otters was precious experience. I believe No safari in Africa includes snuggling a Giraffe.

My wife and I had the time of our life!! We fed the animals, toured the property, met great people, and had a wonderful time. I loved being in the hot tub with the otters. It was incredible to hand feed the giraffes. We got to feed the babies with bottles. Matt really cares about the animals. He has great plans for the growth and future of Blue Hills. I can't wait to come back and see what new things are happening.

You know that feeling when you are leaving vacation and you feel like you are missing something? I like to think that it’s a part of my heart that I left behind. And this place absolutely owns a part of my heart. I have never been to a place like this that is so immersive with such awesome animals. Animals you normally only see in zoos, but here you get to wake up to them staring at you out of your patio window. (If you rent a cabin). We purchased a cabin and one of their experience packages. Going into it I thought it seemed expensive, but after what we got to experience I find that I am going to be going back next time buying a bigger package because it’s 1000% worth it. The staff made us feel like family and we got to witness the birth of their new giraffe, the food there was AMAZING! animals like kangaroos hang out around the office to be petted. Zebras free roaming in the front yard, swimming and playing with otters, the unique expierence of petting and hand feeding fallow deer from our back porch.
