Warm Springs Pools Soak at The Omni Homestead Resort

My partner and I spent a long weekend at The Omni Homestead Resort. Everything exceeded our expectations. We loved the 3pm snack time, we enjoyed relaxing on the front porch by the fire and admiring the scenery. All employees that we interacted with were kind and helpful. The two small issues we had were quickly corrected without fuss. I recommend the Prime Rib buffet at the main dining room and dinner at Jefferson's Restaurant. The Serenity Garden is a great deal and enjoyable way to spend the day. Finally try to take the tour with Anthony. He's a wonderful example of the pride that employee's take in the facility and your experience there. Thanks and we will be back!

This is a beautiful, out of the way spot. The resort harkens back to a bygone era. Lush grounds, gardens and natural hot springs make this a truly unique experience. There is plenty to do here, despite it's off the beaten path location. Golf, walking trails, swimming, croquet and much more for your daily enjoyment. The food was excellent and the resort space embodies a charm and elegance that modern resorts often try to duplicate. I would love to have given The Homestead a five star rating, as we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and surroundings were spectacular. However, for the price I would expect five star amenities. Our room was lovely, but definitely in need of a face-lift. There were spots on the carpet and on the furniture, a lamp was not working and the A/C did not work properly. Fortunately it was unseasonably cool and the windows could be opened so it wasn't bad. We really like the place, but at $400+ per night those details are important.

My family and I had an exceptional time visiting last May 2024. We stopped back through for a little relaxing due to the sudden passing of my mother. This property is on the way home from TN back to PA. We had stopped here once before just for a few hours many years ago to check it out and fell in love with the property. On this occasion last May we decided we would stay a little longer. It did not disappoint! The staff were very accommodating and the property was breathtaking! We really enjoyed the restaurants and all of the extracurricular activities. We actually had so much fun learning Archery here that we bought our own gear for home use and took up the sport. This was our first time to the resort. The grounds are beautiful and we really loved the pools. The food was tasty albeit pricey. I was disappointed that basically none of the cool things you can do there are included in your stay. The rooms were expensive so I figured some amenities would be included. I did like the 3-4pm snack hour in the lobby and loved the piano music. The gym facility is nice. The spa is in my opinion overpriced. The massages we got were ok. It's nice that it's a kid friendly place so the whole family can come. Kids eat for free certain places and times and they wear a bracelet so that they know and I had one server even ask me how old my daughter was (7) and then still charge us for the kids buffet. So I had to say "don't the kids eat free? Here's her bracelet that she's wearing" and then he fixed it. All of the wait staff worked very hard and were very kind. But it was very apparent that they were under trained and not up to the standards of fine dining, which is what they were presenting and charging us for. Big issue with the valet taking over 30 minutes to find and bring our car around for us to leave. After first bringing us the wrong vehicle and then trying to give my husband keys to yet another incorrect car. Then my keys weren't handed off but placed in my trunk. That was a frustrating way to end our trip.

Our stay here exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived the service was incredible. Two stand outs were Hugo and Rickey. Hugo was a very attentive server who was respectful of food sensitivities and was sweet to our travel companions (two dogs). Rickey was our Brews and Views tour guide. He was funny, friendly, and thoughtful. We look forward to coming back soon.
