A Little Hike in Little Yosemite

You will need to climb down to the river to get the nice view of the water. The current is slightly strong, and you aren't allowed to go in the water to protect the habitat. It does get crowded during the day. Condors can be seen in the trees and in the air.

I hiked this trail known as "little Yosemite" a few days ago. It is a moderate hike, no shade at all, so wear a hat and sunscreen. Hydrate prior to hiking and during hiking. I had one of the little pools for myself for about four hours. The little waterfalls are about a mile away from the entrance/parking lot. Even though there are a lot of signs saying "no swimming," people still get in the water. It is cold and clear, and you can even see the little fish. Also, make sure you bring snacks and pick up after yourself. It was great to see how clean it was, no garbage. There is a $5 feed for the parking lot. People do pininics and BBQ up there. Also, there are restrooms all over the park. It is dog friendly.

Quite place, restrooms horrible, yes its dog friendly. Haven’t seen anyone giving entry tickets as that booth is always closed. Lots of picnic spots but not sure about barbecue if it’s allowed or not. Good hiking spot too for beginners

This is a moderately difficult and beautiful hiking place, with huge rocks and clear streams running through them. It is very suitable for young and middle-aged people and families with children over six years old. There are people coming and going from morning to evening, so it is not crowded. The parking lot may be a little tight during the afternoon rush hour, we got there at 11am and parking was easy, walk about 2 miles from the parking lot, gentle gravel slopes. Be careful when climbing rocks.

Its one of the best hike in Bay area. Ticket was $5 and only cash is accepted. There is plenty of space for parking. The hike is kids and dog friendly. There are several spots where you can find small and mod waterfalls. You can hear the sound of waterfalls everywhere you go. It was the most calming experience. The greenery is breathtaking. There are some spaces where you can have little picnic. So many trails to hike. Experienced some sort of super bloom. No matter what weather is its super breezy so carry wind cheater or good jacket. Some waterfall spots have steep paths so wear your best hike shoes. Restroom is only located at entrance. We enjoyed the every spot of this hike and will definitely go there to explore more. Definitely recommend this place.
