Cruise Lady Bird Lake on a Vintage Electric Boat

Rented a boat for an early Saturday morning cruise down the Colorado River. There was a good chance of rain, but they offered a very fair refund if it started raining. Luckily, weather held up for the 90 minute rental. Boat staff was very friendly and helpful. Boat was ready to go upon arrival. After a brief tutorial and safety brief, was on the way. 90 minutes was the perfect amount of time to make a nice loop around the Colorado. Boats only go 4-5 MPH, so was a very casual cruise and perfect to enjoy the scenery without disrupting it or anyone else in the water. It was a great way to also enjoy the Austin skyline and take pictures as you desire. The electric boats were easier than driving a car with basic idle, forward, and reverse travel. I'll definitely come back to rent a boat in the Summer.

Booked Alice to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The experience from meeting on the dock and getting a brief about how to operate to the mini photoshoot on the water, it was beyond incredible. Me and my husband enjoyed to drive such a vintage boat. Would highly recommend

Best kept secret in town!!!! Amazing experience, definitely the best way to see downtown from the water. The staff is all super friendly, they have speakers to use and the location is super convenient

Such a fun time !! There is no traffic on the lake - beautiful scenery of the lake, ducks and turtles and downtown skyline. Can’t wait to come back (plus… super service… our original appt was on a dreary misty day and y’all let us change days with no hesitation!!!!!) 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
